Nice sketching! Love the larger environment. Thanks! And the spacecraft are Canon. Well as Canon as I could make them. Victus, forward section of the Dante Cautela, and a Waverunner. There's a shuttle too, but I threw that together along with most of the ground vehicles and cargo equipment.

The bad news is- I'm taking a short break. The good news is, I've actually made some money doing commissions this week for D&D and Star Wars characters.

It's safe to say I'll have another page done this week. I have another scanned and arranged too. Things are getting more intricate though. Here is the current progress on the Traneldor western spacedock establishing shot. Need to work on the perspective some. Pictured from top left: Captain Chandra's Magic Maiden (Vae Victus Mk IV), Unknown standard cargo shuttle, unknown Waverunner, Several tender and freight haulers vehicles, M-85 Whirlwind AA gun, M-135 APC, and of course, my favorite Dante Cautela. One of the challenges bringing a top down only perspective when first looking at the original artwork was figuring out how these vehicles land after giving them a 3D perspective. The result is, many of the wing surfaces are variable geometry. The Waverunner especially since I arranged it's six wings at about 45 degrees up and down from each other. So its lower wing surfaces elevate and lock against the centerline wing structures to clear the ground and landing struts- similar to the Star Wars X-Wing fighters when not in attack mode.

That's actually really easy. Now try saying after drinking 100 gallons of Crystal Pepsi and eating 50 pounds of small hot dogs What about cancans? Cancans can't be cannon, can they? when fired from cannons they can. By the cannons of what is cannon cancans can be cannon iff they are fired from cannons

I'm still around- burned out again. I work in an industry where thats easy to happen anyway. I hate that it keeps happening, but if I try to fight it it just gets worse- and I don't handle 'worse' well. I'll get back to the comic and finish the chapter eventually. This chapter has little to do with the main arc but does flesh out the Slay's crew. They're my A squad. Anyway I just saw something that made me think of the comic and had to share. One of my nods to the game's roots as a mobile game was the use of personal data 'wristcomps' that fulfil the need for a PDA and comm link. It looks like a mobile phone with a 2 point strap and worn on the wrist like a gauntlet or a giant watch. I got the idea from the Alternity setting Stardrive, and it seemed like a natural addition to any busy spacer's uniform. Then I saw this while lurking /k/ on 4chan: Totally didn't know these were a thing. I'd have given a hinged cover to protect the screen and prevent solar reflection giving your position away, but I think anyone here can see how something like this would be useful.

dayan - really awesome pic! I picked up the wrist-comp idea you suggested for the ST web comic and you can see Capt Avenira wearing one As you mentioned, it will be come critical.

Yep, I saw. I was hesitant to think I gave you the idea though- We do have similar tastes in sci-fi after all.
