Good news everyone (/Farnsworth), I ponied the money up to hire someone to create the webcomic page. I have to do some changes in formatting, mainly reworking the text and size, but naturally it takes away from time working on chapter two. Which is ok. This is a good place to have a hiatus- and id also like to outline where I want to go with the storyarc overall. I guess I got so excited with working on the characters and tech design that I want to take the time to flesh the story out a bit more.

Thanks I really have to give props to A. Morrison for not only putting the page together, but also taking me to school on some comic formatting techniques. Her artwork is also excellent, she has her own scifi webcomic called Brightstars that i'll plug. (It seem to go into yaoi territory).http://www.brightstarscomic.com/comics/1837749/halloween-2013/

I'm thinking about holding a guest star competiton; in writing out the next few chapters there is a captain character that appears in both an antagonizing and supporting role. I guess its not a competition as much as selecting the appropriate personality for the role. It could be seen as silly but unlike most other webcomics that start off with nothing, this one has the core TB fans behind it. And Id like to offer a degree of interactivity with the starting fanbase. In other words: you bozos.

I had to reformat the text and size to all the chapter one pages, I also cleaned up the dialogue so it reads better. The site will also feature a cast section and feature more technical essays than just the main ships as I had it before.

When I started reading that, I thought "that's it, I'm playing TA", but then I carried on and thought "but ST is epic too", and now I'm stuck.

My job here is done. Well not quite: I decided to do the Valentine and standard Destroyer as well as other bits of tech. I have about two pages of chepter 2 in various levels of completion, but chapter 1 has 9 pages including the cover- each page dropping every 2 weeks so it will be a while before chapter 2 actually starts. Ill post them here at the same time so I have lots of time to work on extra content right now.

Okay. I reloaded all the pages after resizing them to 800px wide, fixing some errors, and totally revamping the text with some advice from my web designer.

Also threw in the first pages of chapter 2. They won't hit the main comic until mid May. The first chapter was essentially my attention-getting pilot. Now I'm going to work on plot and character development. And my pacing.

One Thing I'll bring up are the differences between the Bridges of the Cadar Cruiser Independence and the Sanda's Slay. The cruiser is approaching twice the size but they have about the same size and general four station layout on the bridge. The difference is mainly in Government standardization and lowest-bidder funding. Captain Sanda dropped a LOT of bank into her ship to modify it. And I thought one way of showing it would be having her bridge look Star Treky, while the military vessel's bridge looks more like a glorified LAN party.

Just saw the next two pages. Good stuff. Rychart territory, better be careful. You might want to check though, I'm pretty sure the Leiwin A is Javat Space.

Oh man. Ill check in the morning. Its a little difficult trying to crawl through the game's map. Slayers is okay but shows very few planets. Ill check it out and fix it.
