I finally got a chance to play the game with full sound (glorious sound) today, which meant I could enjoy the sensational effects and music put into the game. One thing I found a little grating was the footsteps for the characters as they trod through the dungeon. It was great for the first half-dozen steps, but after that, it became a little too loud, especially when you took into account the lil Thief should be feather light on her feet rather than wearing tap-shoes Great other effects though. I don't suppose you could have a couple of sounds associated with being hit by an enemy? That way it would break up the monotony of being "ugh"ed every time some ratkin archer shoots at my warrior

Working on the volume normalization for the compressed Android sound file formats. A little bit easier to work with in iPad land, but I'm sure we can get parity for Android SoundPool (at least on non-4.3 platforms.)
For the time being, we will have unique "hit" sounds for each character. In the future we may add some randomization with multiple SFX per character.
