- Device: Android 4.2.2 - Class: Samsung IV GT-l9500 -HoS Version:
Second, we need to know what and when it went wrong: WHEN: 10/29/2013 5:10-5:17 AM EST
- What happened right before the crash? Was it your turn or the monster's turn?
I am playing on HARD, trying out the difficulty. My thief died (massacred in 2 hits, 1st dungeon. Heck my warrior was taking 97 damage consecutive hits). Selected Restore Point. My warrior moved 2 steps and then I couldn't do anything else.
The music still plays. I can hear ambient sounds. I can see the characters fidgeting. I can group the characters into their "grouped up" 1 icon mode. I can select the characters. I simply cannot move any characters.
UPDATE: I had to quit the game. Close the program manually, and restart. After which I could move about. I'm in an area with a bunch of blue lights that give text and dialogue troubleshooting information. WARNING: Don't use the teleport option. It crashes the game flat.

rabidbite - sorry, yes the Restore Point is very badly bugged and 50% of devices can't handle what is on the other side (a buggy test zone). So ... your thief died but the defeat screen never appeared? Then all your characters (3 of them) are stuck standing around?

Appeared at the odd town with blue glowing spheres. Moved warrior 2 steps (not into a sphere) and boom. Couldn't move anything else.

rabidbite - ok, perfect. Really sorry about this. P1 was accidentally released with a buggy Restore Point. It takes you to a region that was built with a tilemap that is too large for most devices to handle and will cause automatic crashes if a group gets in there. Sorry ... we've fixed the restore point and nuked that tilemap design completely so that it won't happen again, but that group is probably hosed.

I going to do a "clear data" on my HoS application to clear out all the stored groups and start again from scratch. Is there an update I should download on HoS or we still working with the 1st basic program? rabid

rabidbite - the P1 was stable enough that we have not had to do an update. We are brewing P2 right now ... maybe tomorrow!
