I'm sure Cory's got a specific explanation as to why he didn't provide the specific explanation for space money. My response clearly wasn't specific enough.

In other words, the STRPG economy mimics the voodoo BS of our own global economy.
I bet the DeValtos have a pyramid scheme that steals space money from your other droid apps! No wonder my Angry Birds are angry! The DeValtos Madoff with their eggs.

You must not ask about space money. Seriously

This is not the space money you are looking for. Move along.

There's going to be a space money bubble! I'm going to hit the exchanges and put all of my space money into something more liquid like Vudka, and bury my cache.
Treasure hunters are easier to fend off than bankers.
Speaking of which, can you kill off folks that are trying to get to a cached planet by patroling in orbit? My caches tend to be too big to cart offworld if there's a threat. I'd like the option to basically blockade my wild zones.

Speaking of threats for your caches: it never happened to me, how does it look like, if something happens to your chaches? You just go there, get to "where the X is", and something is missing? Or is usually everything gone at once? If a percentage of my stuff is missing, it would surely still hurt for you valuable stuff, but at least you could still profit from emergency water stores by making them just big enough to have still something left, even if they are touched...

I've had rumors of treasure hunter fleets in my big cache before and I don't think I've lost anything either, but I don't keep a separate tally to verify.
