I'm in the deep cave (4th level) and I have explored all the south, south-west, east area (including the heavily trapped mausoleum) and.what I call the "lake region" at far east (the one with a lot of pool of water and spiders) and I can't find any more passage. I've tried going north of the stairs and after using farsight there seems to be something (I can see a locked chest) but I don't get how to reach it.
Can someone help me ?

Go up a level and explore that further. There's a second stairwell down you haven't found that will allow you continue your quest. {edit: if you haven't found the campsite on the level you are on look more, it's a huge time-saver compared to having to retreat to the surface to rest}

Thanks to absimiliard I found my way to the final battle and that was an epic one that left me with shifty-eyes totally useless due to no SP left and no more potion in my inventory. I have to admit that when I saw the last giant rat (which I know he buffed himself during all the fight with the rest of the horde of ratkin) I had a cold shiver down my spine... Thanks a lot fallen and Cory Trese for giving me this much emotion just on P2 ! Another question though : I've found two chests with red lock symbol on them and I know that they will open after some event. But I've explored every bit of map and kill every enemy I saw so I don't know how to open them. Any hint ?

beuns - glad we got the shivers! Makes me a very happy alpha designer! Hopefully the return of the gypsies would have helped with your potion situation. Some giant rats are capable of innate magic and can buff themselves. We are working on the actual spell animation, as its just too bouncy and happy for vermin magic. A red-locked chest is a boss-locked chest. They are located where a big boss is, and should become blue-locked chests when (and only when) the boss is killed. It sounds like you did kill the boss and the chests are still red-locked? Any additional details would help us pin down this bug.

I had the little dialogue between the characters that thanks me for the adventure and the great battle. After the combat end, I still see the red chests. I'll put screenshots asap.

Try casting lock pick twice. The first time turns the lock from red to blue, the second unlocks it.
That may be a bug though and maybe that is why the red chests were always empty for me.

eldur - yes, that would explain them being empty. But it sounds like there are reports of a red-chest not going blue after the boss was killed. Anything you can do with extra data would be great, I have added #HOS-2211 to track this.

Here are 2 screenshots of the 2 chests. I was in free movement when I took those so I suppose there were no boss around.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using proboards
Edit : sorry, I don't know why but proboards app hasn't put the screenshots here. As soon as I have access to Wi-Fi, I'll use dropbox to give them to you.

Btw, I tried to unlock them as eldur described and I had the same results : 1st precision pick the lock turned blue, 2nd precision pick the lock disappeared and when I opened it nothing happened.

Yep ... that is a safe guard against red-lock chests that never had a boss to begin with. It prevents impossible-to-open chests in the game from persisting and driving players crazy. Those chests lacked bosses -- that was the original issue.

Ok. Thanks for the explanation.
Does that mean that for P3 they won't be here and that we'll never know what's supposed to be in ?

P3 will be in the real game and no longer in and around Granthorn. In the next update (still P2) they will be either blue-lock with no boss or red-lock with a boss.
