Karjtan went back to his room in the inn to meditate. He realized he had the ability to improve on or gain a new talent, but which to choose?
The current spell of choice was the Firebolt 3 spell, causing 28-54 points of damage using 2AP and 16 spirit.
A new spell was Immolation 1, causing 9-30 damage, using 3AP and also costing 16 spirit. What hey wait a minute.
Both spells burn. Both spells cause fire damage at 6 range, but Immolation causes almost 50% less damage, yet costs 1 more AP. why would Karjtan invest in the new spell when the old one was clearly more superior with the same spell point spend?
