Two questions for the talent Question the first. does precision pick increase range as you boost it? I haven't boosted it yet because I haven't needed to, but the current 1 Range is a killer at times, especially in a corridor situation where you have your outlander out front ready for an encounter and you come across a locked door. It just happened to me where the game thought I was in an encounter, even though there were no enemies within probably 10 squares of me (and none advanced when I pressed the turn button). This was in the deeper mines level where you come across 3 or so locked doors in a row and the corridor to the right of the doors is full of spiked pits.
Moving the team back over the spiked pits in order to allow the thief to the front of the team took multiple turns (do we HAVE to have 2AP cost when we move over an already triggered trap??)
Question the second. In lots of other games, the thief has a basic lock-picking ability, which takes AP, but doesn't cost any SP (or the equivalent). It is usually the wizard who has the ability to open magically locked doors. Is there any chance that the thief will have a chance to be able to open locked doors without having to cast a spell to do so?

slayernzGood ideas. When on the training screen that precision pick description says something like "at a range of one". Does sound like a teaser that putting in more points would increase the range like Farsight. What would you think about this. If the range is one maybe AP cost only? But if greater than one you would have to add SP? I've had that very same thought on multiple locked doors in narrow hallway. Maybe that is a clue to extending the range by adding more points to p-pick. Throwing it over the Outlander's shoulder could be a help. With disable trap already at range 3, that would be a great way of opening doors while clearing traps in front of him at the same time. I may give that a try on increasing precision pick to see what happens. I've been pretty tight with spending my points. If I find out before you do, I'll post it.
