I put points into stealth skill until my Level 4 Thief has a stealth of 6. I found the "Ring of the Stalker" +1 dodge, +1 Stealth. I purchased "Quilted Sheathe Armor (Stealth Armor" 8 armor +1 dodge, +1 Stealth. With both of them equipped;
On the Skills screen I see 6(7) Stealth, Shouldn't that read 6(8)?
I get 6(7) if only one or the other is equipped, but not 6(8) when both are equipped.

@johnrobison - took a quick look at the code and it should work. Maybe there is a skill bonus stacking bug here, added #HOS-2217 to investigate.

I was playing a long session on the old version the day this was reported. I installed 1.0.7 five minutes after reading the gmail. I'll keep a watch on it, to see if it reoccurs, then report back with the result. Thanks

V 1.0.7 Stealth Bug confirmed. Raised thief to Stealth Level 7. Equipped "Quilted Sheath Armor (Stealth Armor)", +1 Dex, +1 Stealth.
On skill Screen Stealth displays 7 instead of 7(8) However;
This did not happen when casting the buff "Blacknight" 1 on myself. When spell is active Stealth displays Stealth 7(8), but should still be 7(9) if the armor were stacking.

John Robinson - awesome, also confirmed the bug here. We will figure out and fix! Also noted that there is no display of the skill buff from Outlander's Natural Mastery.

fallenDarn. Too bad about the natural master, I just made level 6, and put a talent point in it to test what it could do. Regarding that talent when it says "+2 to All Melee Skills", does that include Parry? (Weapons have it).

John Robinson - it is just the display on the skills page that is broken -- the talent works fine. It adds +2 to Blades, Hammers, and Polearms skills. These skills are included as standard strength dice in both your attack and defense rolls for melee combat. So, they are very useful all around. Parry (via your weapon) is included as a strong dice pool in your melee defense. EDIT: just fixed and tested the display bug for the Outlander with Natural Mastery on. Still looking into the Stealth issue.
