How do they get the package and escorts through the phone?

So I was in the Narrows trying to work my way up BO's ladder and Victor wanted to give me an escort job to Old Kenmore. There's no way I want to walk that far with a tag-along, so I turned him down. My knight being smarter than your average trogger hopped a taxi to Old Kenmore and called up Victor who was still offering the same job. I happened to be calling from the same hotel that I had to escort my person to, so I never even had to go outside to complete the contract. Pretty clever, but it got me thinking, How do I get escort and package delivery jobs over the phone?

I suppose I could do a package delivery job if my Knight came equipped with a 3D printer in his colon, but how do they get the people through the phone?

So I guess my wish is that, for the sake of realism it doesn't make much sense that package delivery and escort jobs (unless they also entailed pick-up) are given over the phone. Should these be unique to on-the-ground street fixers?

I always just assumed that someone dropped the escort/package to the CK and left the dangerous overland trip to you. Either they traveled from underground sewers to get to your current location or traveled a short distance from their nearest safehouse to you via runner?
