If a cut scene is triggered during a battle. The battle music turns off and stays off until the battle ends. I'm tracking now to see if it happens every time.
Two examples; Krellin Deeps cut scene where the characters talk about the area being a Ratkin Charnel House. I had two ratkin on screen left to kill. After cut scene still in battle mode AP7 but music remained off, replaced by the windy cavern sounds in normal free move.
The next time I noticed it was also in Krellin Deeps where they are talking about the "Caravan Crates". I was moving and fighting, and I think one of my characters moved into a square that triggers the cut scene, again no battle music for remainder of battle.

The next occasion I saw the battle music cut out. At the gates of Oskahold, when the guard goes to get the knight. You hear the monster beast sound, and three bowrats appeared from the north of the party but not music. This continues as the guard says "Watch out! the ratkin are attacking" They withdraw to the gates, no battle music yet. When I kill one of the first 3 bowrats on screen the battle music begins and stays on.
