So I started my first non-combat character finally the other day. I picked a House Thulun Merchant on Insane difficulty. And boy-howdy has it been an interesting ride! I will list my stats on him and his ships, and follow up with a question.

My one question is, why does every ship I have, no matter its ratio of engines & sails to hull & armor, always have just a medium speed and high agility? Shouldn't my suped up hot-rod ships be classified as faster and more maneuverable?
