As the years go by I notice that some posters fade into obscurity. And so here is a thread for the call out to those members you hope might see this and get motivated to leave a "I'm alive" post. It also serves as a 'remembrance' thread. People you miss. May they be doing well wherever they are. I've seen so many people come and go it's kind of depressing in a way - you know, you make friends with em, care for em, share pearls of wisdom with eachother and then one day, poof, the're gone.  I hope they come back soon ... the regular posters and not the nuts .. well the nuts would be nice too |

I know what you mean (not about the nuts.) I've always felt MUDs and Usenet pre-immunised me against Facebook.
Had a guy on a MUD once I figured was gone for good send me an email 7 years later, saying he'd seen a message I'd left in a forum (cheers to real names on the internet.) Always hope.

10: He began dating Little Bo Peep and they both got lost.
9: While visiting the Lawnmower Man in the virtual world he accidentally deleted himself and
had to be restored from a backup tape using a TRS 80 and Radio Shack cassette recorder.
8: While having a spiritual crisis, he had a sudden case of dyslexia and went around the world
looking for Dog.
7: Was involved in legal dispute with Microsoft over the use of “nt”, both parties had to drop
their cases since NT is no longer supported and the language pack for translating “bah bah”
to English could not be found.
6: Having learned that the rabbit had not in fact been destroyed by the Holy Hand Grenade of

I'm alive
I've been busy. Since I started college I've had to do real work for the first time since ever. Now that I'm off for Christmas break though I can get back to playing TB games and posting on the thread.
