I was just looking at this table again. I can't imagine why anyone would ever invest in Elemental Sundering. It's damage is only the tiniest bit better than LS but it costs 4 times the SP to cast and costs 3AP. The accuracy is also lower. The rare situation where the AOE might provide some sort of advantage would probably never be worth it. KJ's level 18 spell is also far superior, but they cost the same thing in SP and AP.

contributor - Elemental Sundering is on the list of Talents to re-work. Got to finish that last Tamilin Talent and then we're coming around to it ... I think you're very right that there will be no hue and cry of "I was using that awesome Talent!?" when we change it.

I would love to see it turned into an Ice element...
This would open the door for extra effects, such as damage/ap/mp/etc to be added, fitting with the rest of the Ice talents.

Does Eye of the storm only increase ranged crit chance? The description ingame doesn't specify this

As far as I know there is no stat called ranged crit. Whenever crit is increased through a buff it applies to all attacks. The only exception I can see to this is crit found on a weapon or crit found on a specific attack such as frenzied blows. In these cases the crit only applies to attacks made with that weapon or attack (staves do not suffer from this limitation).

Does Eye of the storm only increase ranged crit chance? The description ingame doesn't specify this Crit % is applied regardless of ranged / melee / spell. |

Um... then why did Robinson wrote in the skill table that the crit from Eye of the storm only applys to Vincent's ranged attack?

Well, that was meant to clarify the accuracy. He also wrote "similar to Tamilin her Deadly Intuition talent" in which it works the same that she gets accuracy which is only for ranged attacks but the critical hit % works with everything.
Selfbuff critical hit % talents are very good, because you get higher damage and that also synergizes with %sp.
