I need more test phones. Especially partially broken ones that are cheap.
If anyone has just straight up unused old Android phones I would really like to test my games on them.
Anyway, PM me if you want to trade or discuss your old androids.

Cory, you're slipping. The rumor should say:
In 2011.55AE we heard about a recent shortage of Electronics on Trese Prime!

Heh, I have a T-mobile G1 if you really want to test for old hardware.

I am thinking about buying a G1 ...
Free games for life? =)
actually i'm not sure how I can give out free games. It looks like if I refund a purchase it undoes the Google License.
Hmmm, anyway, since I like to be a good dude -- you can still sell a G1 for at least $50 if it works. I just want one to test ST RPG and other games on

I wish I could donate it but to be honest some money would be pretty nice (I'm a poor college student). I think I might throw it up on eBay if you want to wait for a broken-ish one.
In the meantime if you want me to load up the game on there to try it out just let me know. In the mean time it works (mostly) well on my T-mobile G2

Oh please, do not sell your phone on eBay. You'll get totally ripped off most of the time. Try Swappa. www.swappa.com/The guy who runs this (Ben Edwards) is a legit dude, I talked to him at Google IO all about the used Android device market. Check it out -- G1s sell regularly on there. Glad I could help.

Oh yeah I'm aware of Swappa, I just always forget about it because everyone charges so much on there. I saw the G2 for at least $250 and then turned around and got one for $150 off Craigslist.
I guess if it's a sellers market that's all the better for me.
