That is sweet. I've been collecting maps of underground and temple complexes for use as inspiration.
Some really great maps are available in the US for people who are into caving, and they show a lot of cool cavern layouts.

I already like the water in the caves and I think more would be better. Most caves are wet. Also deep drops and pits would be cool. They could be accessed by ropes or rope-ladders. To make it interesting those ropes or ladders could take multiple AP to climb up/down in combat. When exploring you could have to go up/down them unglomed. Will you be attacked at the bottom? Who do you send first?

It was used by pre-columbian indians, used as an ammo dump by the rebels during the Civil War, as a hide out and loot stash by the James Younger gang. Almost 5 miles worth of caverns.

Who do you send first? You will see a lot more water in later episodes and map sets -- the characters are in a fairly dry, normally, area. Regarding some of the flooding north of Oskahold, those familiar with Granthorn will know some of the backstory I was going to post some map screens from Episode 3 but decided not to spoil the fun. There are some maps you'll love =)

Damnit, I had a long post about Coober Pedy, an Australian town that is predominantly built underground, and they are still actively carving out caves to build things like 3 bedroom houses! Silly Proboards ate my post again (or maybe I just forgot to press the post button) They live down there because the temp gets over 104 degrees F and it's about the same cost to dig underground as it is to build above ground!
