Stone Skin has 8 round duration, increases with Lore starting value 2, for 10 round duration when buffed.
Phalanx Shield has 8 round duration, increases with Leadership starting value 1 for 9 rounds when buffed.
It would be helpful to add +1 to Leadership, so when you are using Stone Skin with Phalanx shield they will both end
on the same number of rounds. So one or the other does not prematurely end during a battle.

John Robinson - the starting attributes are balanced between characters. If you want to have sync'ed buffs, then you'll have to raise Leadership with your skill points.

Yeah you're right. I was hoping (wishlist) for both skills to start at 2. But all I have to do is kick an extra point into Leadership to even them up. Vraes gets plenty of skill points to spend. It is a tough choice deciding whether or not to split points between Leadership and Lore, or specialize. I think leadership is a hint, because he is the only one who has it. Witch also leads me to conclude increased Parry really works better than I think it does.
I have wondered for a long time in Natural Mastery 1 it says "+2 all melee skills", is Parry considered a melee skill?
The only other talent (not skill) that can raise Parry is Kyrea's Warder's Shield, very cost effective and adds dodge, but gets no extended duration from Lore so will always remain 8 rounds.

John Robinson - a "Melee Skill" covers Swords, Hammers, Polearm skills only - these are used in both attack / defend rolls in melee. Parry is an attribute that a Weapon or Shield has - just used in defense.
