When leveling and looking at knowledge.
Tamlin (starts with Knowledge 4), "My Knowledge is not an attribute on which I rely. My life is full of hiding and dodging. I avoid things I don't want to face or know."
Vraes; (Starts with Knowledge 3) "My Knowledge is not an attribute on which I rely. I know myself through my weapon and the clash of arms.
Why would they ever increase it? Knowledge = 0, doesn't sound right either, they would be slobbering idiots. Will Knowledge have more meaning to Tamlin and Vraes in future releases?

@johnrobison - at this time, there are no system benefits to increasing these attributes for Vraes or Tamilin. Those using ranged spell attacks will find it a critical attribute.
There are potential places this attribute would tie in with game subsystems in the future, but nothing I want to talk about at this time.

fallenI didn't think there was anything in the game you don't ever intend to use in the future. Are there no depths to which I will not sink to coax, beg, borrow or steal hidden secrets? In a word No, (considering the NPC). I did get another tantalizing look into the HOS crystal ball (which is what I really wanted all along ha ha). Thanks

Well, how about for the Rogue and Outlander knowledge increases the soak that could potentially be bypassed. I would assume that if I know a Deathkin's strategy, anatomy, physiology, and psychology that I could develop a way to find weaknesses.
But then again, imagining Vraes as an idiot because he lets the Deathkin hit him a gazillion times is totally worth it.

I would hope that no one ever sees the stat as Knowledge and thinks "idiot." Vraes is very smart and powerful characters, but he does not tap into certain potentials that humans have. In the same way, Tamilin dodges and avoids her problems, and therefore does not use this stat.

It is possible that he's a very sharp guy who has a serious martyr complex but anyone who can take the hits he does, has a serious bone matter to gray matter surplus. I hate to say it but he's going to end up like most retired championship boxers. You can only take so many hits to the head before it takes it's toll. If anything, Vraes' knowledge attribute should diminish over time.

Anyways, I think it's safe to say that Knowledge should be made important, even in a minor way for the characters, even if Vraes thinks Deathkin is Santa Claws Sent from my MB855 using proboards

What if Knowledge just wasn't even a choice for Vraes? Then we wouldn't think about how knowledgeable he is.

Not going to worry about it at the time -- much bigger fish to fry. Sorry that it sticks in some peoples mind.
