First, Cyber Knights Elite is ON SALE for $1.99. Great time grab it for the holidays.
Second, this is a major release (jumping to 1.7.0) which puts in the foundation for all the upcoming job system re-build. We are headed to a new Jobs System 2.0 for Cyber Knights which will really change the game. It is important to get this first phase locked in solid, so please watch your jobs (heat, rep, negotiation, etc) extra carefully for this release and report anything you see as an issue or an inconsistency!
v1.7.0 - 12/16/2013 - Character w/ Best Negotiation haggles for job prices - Reasons for profession-based job bonuses now displayed in job screens - Pickup / Delivery jobs build up Heat and then burn it all at the end - Synchronized Heat add / remove for taking / completing jobs - Fixed job bugs sending you to the same shop - Foundation is now in for new jobs system - please report any issues!

abysmal - ahhhh, that specific incarnation of the bug (a Pickup > Delivery and the Delivery is to the Pickup location) ... that might not be fixed! Will check again.

I have a major problem with the new update. The game is too fun to play now. I demand to have a boring piece of bloatware on my phone. I want to have a app tied to the system so I can't delete it. I want too run through the streets naked covered in green jello because I might suddenly feel the need to. Until you start making worthless games I shall keep buying these great ones at a cheap price and play them all the time. Now go and code your hearts out or I shall taunt you a second time you silly programmers.
(in case you didn't get it, this is a joke. Have a merry Christmas guys.)

heat seems to be working like a charm. no more ton of heat from knights/streets. could you elaborate more on the new job changes, and what may build up from here?

dann - It's a long story but ... (1) Connectors should have a profile. Do they run a Package Hub, a Smuggler's Den, a Data Courier House, are they Paramilitary, or just Warlord? This should determine the types of jobs you get from them. (2) The jobs you get should be directly impacted by XP and Reputation. Higher XP should mean you are more likely to get sent into more dangerous areas. Low XP characters should not be getting sent across the wall and into the Core NBZ. Higher Reputation should lead you to more complicated and chained jobs (Capture this Person, Escort the Captive Here OR Kill This Person, Take a Package Off the Person, Take the Package Here). (3) Jobs today are too statically determined. You know what you are getting from a single shop and can repetitively run similar jobs there. That's going away. (4) Jobs should be one of the most impacted sectors of the game when a rumor or a conflict comes on. Every Paramilitary and Warlord Connector is going to suddenly want to send you on Kill Missions or War Missions (not specific targets, just kill-kill-kill!) if a Street War has started with their faction. Every Smuggler's Den is going to be targeting the area where the armor shortage or lockdown is. These are just the off-the-top-of-my-head ramblings, thinking about the design documents.

Sounds awesome! This game just keeps getting better Keep it up bros. As a side note: This new zoom mechanic just doesn't work on my small(old) phone, WAY to sensitive. Usually takes quite awhile to get one of the middle settings where I can actually play. Can we please have the old zoom bar back? It could be in addition to the new zoom, so one could use either. Or, what about an option in the settings menu? Thanks again guys, you rock! Now, back to stunning gangers and stealing their drugs :-D
