Jacob - the first post in this thread is used as a "running list of wishes". I added the "Wishes Come True" section to the first post in this thread.

There is just one problem with killing all the rats, there will not be any left to kill. Since Jacob shows such great weirdness. I say we make him the rat breeder so we have a never ending supply! KILL MORE RATS! KILL MORE RATS!! KILL MORE RATS!!!

1) Staffs. There aren't that many (2?) right now and it would be nice to have an option of making the cleric more staff based. 2) Faster walking speed. It takes a very long time to walk across an area, esp after it's beaten and you just want to go from A to B. 3) A "spot" skill? Something that would let the rouge or theif class spot secret items? 4) A staff that shots range damage at no (or low) SP) that either the cleric or wizard could use. 5) Ways to upgrade basic attack--slash 1 to slash 2 etc. 6) Hidden bosses that are a lot harder than main quest one. 7) Including the minor quests in the quest log (the 40 xp ones for walking into the library, etc).

vdx - thanks for the suggestions. 1) You'll see a lot more of these in Episode 2, along with real mage armor that you'll want badly. 2) We've done what we want to do with walk speed at this time. There may be other changes down the road, but not something that is high on our list atm. 3) Not something we are going to be able to add to Heroes of Steel. Maybe a future game! 4) Interesting idea! 5) The basic attacks cost 0 SP and can never be increased in Power level. 6) We are heads down on finishing the game's main line story. This means we aren't adding very many subquests right now. I'd rather see the main story finished and then we will come back and expand the rest of the game, than wait +3 weeks to get Episode 2 out because we decided to do all the subquests we have on the roadmap. 7) See #6

Crossbows. I'd really love it if every character could have a ranged attack, but I realize that would change the game too much. But crossbows for Selen and Tamilin would be awesome.
(The stupid spell check on my Kindle kept changing "crossbows" to "crossbones". Is it trying to tell me something?)

Sweet Polly Purebred - I think it's trying to tell you to try Age of Pirates We are working on some "Heavy Draw" bows that would require 3 AP and have Min Str requirements for the ranged characters.

...Oh and where the combat log at!?... Frankly it's really a point that is missing, all PC RPG trying have deep combats provide a combats log to be an analysis tool for players that want it. The game isn't a PC game only and l don't see a log on a smartphone, but even on a tablet it woud be a missing point. I honestly didn't felt the miss that much, and there's more important, but from a PC RPG point of view, it's not a so insignificant feature.

I'm not sure the combats log is old stuff. Very old RPG preferred hide rules, at that time it was considered a part of gameplay to hide the rules and have players discovered themselves. But I don't consider anything old school is better. :-) I doubt you'll find much modern RPG without a combat log. Perhaps at release Dragon Age Origin had no combats logs and get promptly bashed, I don't remember well. The game shows the damages but it's far to be enough. An example of problem is how identify the special damage types? I don't know and in fact the game choose made it quite complex because a fire spell with have base damages physical ie reduced by AC and Toughness. A combats log doesn't allow show the formula and not much player want do math. But they allow transform in text some information that can't provides images or simple damages output. That said, a combats log is a significant effort of design, moreover it wouldn't be compatible with mobiles tiny screen. So I wonder if the game will ever have a combats log.

Just to be clear - enabling a combat log is on our to-do list, but it is very low priority compared to other work we have.

Hahahah nah homie, I'm old school as in the pen and paper rpgs ...combat logs are consequence of p n p rpgs since.you have to write everything. Just a lame joke on my part.
