Episode 1 & Lady Strom, Mild Spoilers

I took Lady Strom's quest and found the chest with her stuff. We all agreed we wouldn't mess with her stuff until we showed her what we found. Then when I show up at her place, she doesn't say a word about it. What gives?

Could it be because the Reeve is waiting for me to go down the hole?

hmmmm, the first time I played it through I did Strom's quest before going after the Shaman and had no problems. You might have a bug on your hands.

tenbsmith - you should have no problem returning the goods to Lady Strom. You are visiting the item shop?

There should be an option there "We have located the lost caravan and the goods."

No such luck? I was just double testing this for other reasons.

I visited the Strom's shop but did not see the "We have located the lost caravan..." dialogue option. Here are some potentially useful details:
-1st generation Kindle Fire running HoS 1.1.19.
-Edit: Prior to embarking on Lady Strom's quest, I cleared the fort, both farmholds, and spoke to the Reeve/Knight who indicated they would patrol the north cavern until I got back from defeating the shaman.

tenbsmith - is it possible that you did the quest before you asked about taking it? Trying to figure out how you got this bug ... everyone else has issues being able to respond to that dialog option twice and getting 2 X the rewards in v1.1.19.

Seriously, I can't remember the specific dialogue, but I do remember discussing recovering a missing caravan with Strom prior to heading into the Western cavern. On HoS, I explore all dialogue options prior to discontinuing the interaction.

I'd also spoken to the Oskahold villager north of the barracks about the tombs of the silver cohort. I found the tombs of the silver cohort prior to completing Strom's caravan quest. I was a bit disappointed with the loot in the silver cohort tombs, just a couple of potions and a modest amount of gold (there was a nice ring hidden elsewhere in the same complex.

tenbsmith - ok, thanks for the extra details. I will play through this section again and see if I can find a bug. As I mentioned, I just finished testing it for a different result, and found it in good order. I will take a look!

Sorry that the loot rolls at the tombs were did not end up great. The goal of the quest was not to provide amazing loot.

O.k., just trying to be helpful about the Strom quest.

I still liked the silver cohort quest, the beetles were a very different opponent that I used a new tactic to defeat. Not every quest must have awesome loot. In fact, behavioral science shows that intermittent rewards are the most effective.

fallen, do you mean if I return to the warm caverns or to lady Strom? BTW, I got a +25 fire resistance ring in the warm caverns, so maybe I shouldn't complain.

wait a minute... I don't remember any mention of papers when I found the caravan chest. Did I miss something? Another thread mentioned papers associated with lost caravan...

tenbsmith, if you return to the warm cave at the right time. Remember how uneasy those souls were resting when Oskahold was in danger?

Swami, it's the Silver Cohort quest and on it you will encounter beetles. Did you explore the West Road completely? It was also added later in an update, so if you did that early on you might want to go back again.
