i'm stuck: where's the western farm/outpost?

Hi, all,

i've cleared out the northern farm/outpost and as far as i can tell i've cleared out every square of the western area, but have yet to find an output of any sort. i've cleared both underground areas to the west - the one with the crypts and one the one containing the "lost caravan papers", and i don't see any more exits for that zone. There's a severed bridge, but no way to get around it. Visiting the Reeve does not say i've cleared that part, so there _must_ be something left to do there, but i can't for the life of me find any more paths to follow in the western area.

You need to go the north vault. The main quest objectives are located off that hub. One farmhold west out of the north vault, and one to the east.

Ah... okay. Now i'm not at all sure what the west area is supposed to be (except for a lost caravan), and i just spent well over 2 hours scouring and re-scouring it :/.

Indeed, that was it. i've now cleared both and have just gotten the quest to go down into the hole and kill the shaman boss.

A Quest Log is the top priority issue in early 2014, after Christmas.
