How to rotate a unit to face an adjacent unit?

i feel really stupid asking this, but i can't find a control which allows this. In this screenshot (taken from the first room of the TA tutorial level):



how can i rotate the selected unit to his left? When i tap on that space it selects the other unit.


Certainly this must be possible, but the controls seem to not allow it?

Update: to make it worse: if i move the unit which is currently on the left off-screen, such that he's standing here:



then i can't rotate the active unit _at all_.

sgbeal - the rotation and move controls will all respond to "squares in that line" ... so, in this case the UI is showing the immediately adjacent square "in that line" highlighted with the yellow arrow. If you tap one square farther to the right (between the two east facing Templars ... or, past the second east facing Templar), you will also see the Templar rotate in the direction you want.
