We also don't know if in EP 2+ there are allies added to the party of 4 we now have come to love. Nope, not in this game. The engine supports it, but the game we are making is about the Heroes of Steel, which are 4 in number. So say the Legends of Steel =) |

Agreed, but Karjtan starts with conjuring of 3 @ level 1, which does not allow him to hit ALL his spots in Red Hill. We also don't know if in EP 2+ there are allies added to the party of 4 we now have come to love. As fallen pointed out Karjtan starts with Conjuring 2. The shape of Pureflame Shield never changes it will always be a cross shape for 2+ all the way to 10. You cannot hit more than 5 hexes. That does not mean you will hit 5 characters. AOE is as follows: 1 The Center target you cast it on. 2 North Hex. 3 East Hex. 4. South Hex. 5 West Hex. There are 4 types of characters, IAP characters are a variation of the Wizard, Outlander, Cleric, and Thief. For example when you want to start a game with Vincent the Sorcerer you tap Karjtan the Wizard to display and select him. This will be the same when you select the Rogue when it becomes available by taping Tamlin the Thief. If I understand the game design correctly the party size will always be a maximum of 4 characters. I think fallen will (hope) confirm this. |

Cory Trese confirmed it above and I agree that we won't hit the 5 chars and that is why I was suggesting the line for Conjuration adjusting # of targets hit in Pureflame Shield.

Thanks for pointing out this mistake, Pureflame Shield's AoE now grows with level. Holding it to the small cross is an annoyance.
The maximum party size is 4.

Will we see the icon representing the shape of the AOE change in the leveling talent screen as the talent levels moving from a block to a "cloud", or a set static shape that is bigger than a cross? |

There is some ability, or attribute that affects curses, or make them to be more effective, for example, that affect shocking ash in the same way that sorcery affects spell attacks like fire bolt and immolation,
