Maybe it's not 10k individual coins. Maybe there are Ratkin bankers that are providing higher denomination coins in the background as you go through the tunnels: "Excuse me, Mr. Shaman, do you have change for a 10,000?" Thats kind of what the Knights Templar did during the crusades. They acted as banking and lending institutions, holding onto the treasure gained from the sacking of the middle east and issuing official marks that could be redeemed at any Templar outpost or keep throughout europe or the mideast. And they grew very rich and powerful doing so. Enough to threaten the other big player of the time- the Church. But thats a different story. |

fallen, the main game I am playing is on Normal difficulty This is where the team has clocked up the 9.2k coinage. I've got three other teams playing with different difficulties (none playing Nightmare though). I don't buy potions although have been quaffing them on a regular basis, and as I am cautious, I walk back to camps on a very regular basis. That keeps consumption of potions down significantly. I hope you don't change the gold we get !! I buy potions every chance I get, so I'm always spending money & hope you keep the amount we find the way it is.. |

captain nemo - the only price changes that have been happening are around the cost of weapons / armor, and most of those are now done. I am currently happy with the economy of monster-gold and potion-cost is a good one.
