Alright. Just finished up Part 2. First up, list of all my characters. If I've not made a note of a skill/talent, I've not put any points into them beyond what they start with. For some reason I've put all the attributes down regardless.. who knows why.

First of, story wise. Part 2 is a lot more focused than Part 1, if anything it felt more like the Prologue again with little choice in variation of path but at the same time that helped give gravity to what was happening in the situation. Not sure what to make of the Gods being involved directly, though the sequence in the Temple of Thirteen was very cool. I also really liked the two new characters of Bloodlace, and the one-eyed soldier (sorry, forget his name. Terrible with names). Glad Bloodlace sounds like she'll pop back later, and I'm very curious to see what my choice of saying "Yes" to the soldier will do, as in whether it will effect anything. The Baron.. it seemed fairly obvious he was going to be more of a lacky than the real power, and I'm not sure whether I like it or dislike it.. but in context with the story there was no other way that would work.
Fight wise, difficulty in general felt a little easier in Part 1 *except* for the boss fights. The Captain at the Gatehouse was absolutely horrible. I couldn't get past it without restoring, simply because with so many monsters around and no cover the archers just destroyed me no matter which way I pushed. The Orc was also tough, because of the waves and also being fairly open. Thankfully, not being surrounded it allowed me to fall back and slowly weed them out til I could make a stand. In comparison to those two fights, the Baron was simple which if anything just helped solidify the fact that the Mage Lazzon (sp?) was the power.
Now, character wise. Tamilin was a life saver, and there were so many situations I was thankful she is an absolute ranged beast. I kind of wish I hadn't put so many points so far into Deadly Intuition due to its sp cost, or put less into dexterity to get some more SP. She has a talent point saved up, so as soon as she hits 18th she'll be getting her AOE.
Vraes, also a beast. Same problem as Tamilin in the fact that I wish I'd put some less points into Natural Mastery. I'll want to get it there eventually, but for now 1-2 points in Burst of Speed, and an extra point or two in Iron Skin would have been great.
Karjtan hits like a wet noodle currently, as he just has Firebolt 1 but his debuffing helps *so* much and he can hit for a mighty 10-20 damage on occasion depending on the monster. He near enough *never* runs out of SP, so I can't wait for him to his level 18 talent, which I've saved a point for.. so he can start the burnination.
Kyera surprised me this part. Thanks to Karjtan's cursing ash, and the mace from the end of Part 1 with some accuracy gear, she was actually landing blows fairly frequently on archers/basic soldiers for 30-40 damage. Mostly this was just during the easier fights, when it got difficult I'd pull out the Ethereal Anguish and go into more of a healing role. I kind of wish I'd put a point or two more into Warder's Shield. I'm not sure how much good it is doing, but I'm hoping it will counteract some of the penalties of Vraes' Berserk. She also has a point saved for her level 18 talent.
Due to the open nature of a lot of the areas, I *really* felt the lack of AOE damage. So many situations where it seemed like I had to burn through a lot of enemies in one turn if I wanted to survive, couldn't and had to result into fleeing and trying to thread them out.
Hmph. I'll probably have some more thoughts on the matter, but for now that's what immediately comes to mind as I put the mobile down.
