I just started a new game using the rogue and while watching the prison cutscene, I thought it would me nice to use the zoom+camera in cutscenes where NPCs enter rooms, or when something goes on that's not close to you, not just go straight there but play with zoom and camera a bit. Personally I think it would a small layer of polish and immersion in the storytelling.
Also I know I did those suggestions before but adding animated wall torches with a subtle light aura and some sort of (fmv?)animated dusty overlay on the floors of the dungeons would be a HUGE step up! The game itself doesn't look bad but animated backgrounds are a must compared to still images, no less in 2D games!

VincentD - thanks for the feedback. We've got both on a really long list of things to do, so perhaps we will get there someday They are both considered low priority polish items atm. We've come an amazingly far distance with the tech and art of Heroes of Steel, and we hope to keep up that pace and momentum as we continue to do game dev!
