Anyone? If you happened to have any "stuck" games, please try them!

Since I've been away so long, I'll give one giant THANK YOU to Cory and Fallen for their continued work on HoS.
Small request. I know this isn't the time when they got added, but since this is the most recent update I thought I'd talk/ask about it here. With the Mighty/venerated/epic boon items, would it be possible to have them come as plain old items that are equipped from the chests? I'll go ahead and admit that I thought I must have missed them until I realized that they were auto-equipped onto my characters. It's a pretty small thing, I know, but it caused me a bit of confusion. I'd be interested in hearing if others ran into the same brain-fart moment I had when trying to find my helper items.
By the way, good job making them quite good but not unbalanced or anything. I'd be interested in hearing your philosophy in their creation if you don't mind discussing it. I imagine they are probably, oh, A- tier items, right? Not the absolute best out there but probably good enough that, barring amazingly good luck, we will use them through the game.
Also, may I ask approximately how many people have access to them? What are other people's opinions on them?

johndramey - welcome back I haven't heard anyone else having the brain fart moment, so at the moment, I think we'll leave it as it is. Maybe a cue dialog that makes it clear you got the items would be good. The other items would work that way -- Bloodlace will actually give you the Venerated Gifts at the start of E2 and it will be very clear. On the creation of them - their goal is that by the end of Episode 1, Act 2 you should be starting to consider taking them off. In some cases (Kyera's ring) that's pretty unlikely, and other items are unique (giving Critical % in boots!) ... so I could see you wear them into E2, depending on what your play style and strategies are. Once you've faced down some of the big bosses in Episode 2, it's likely that you'll be moving on. They are "starter" items.

fallen - Thanks for the welcome . Eh, no worries then. I can totally see this being a problem only I am having, and I'm sure there aren't that many people out there with access to the gifts anyway. Don't put too much effort into them, because of time/returns. Cool to see what you guys were thinking about with them. I really find them quite cool and good, but nothing too overpowered. I particularly like Kyera and Selen's items, which are the two that you pointed out haha. Another small question; Will the later items also be accessory slot items? They seem to be the best way to go about giving out the rewards to the players while avoiding having them be shoehorned into a particular play style.

johndramey - we went back and forth on the subject, and during the KickStarter we declared we'd do weapons for the Mighty Starter. Now that we are playing Heroes, I think Gear is the only really viable option. You've got 3 slots, so you can mix and match the items well, and maybe you want to put Kyera's Ring on Vraes later when he needs the SP bump and keep finding new uses for the items. So, as you said - the best option is definitely Gear and we are going to stick too it. All the Digital Rewards will be character specific (so, Selen and Tamilin do get slightly different rewards, but its more noticeable when you starting looking at Kyera vs. Fyona's rewards).

Just a bit unusual but after starting a third game, pressing Play automatically skips the intro. I was kinda interested if Selen was quircky like Tam or kinda like Shadow from FF6...

I experience this issue when I start a new game, press skip intro button on purpose, but then, for whatever reason, I want to go back to do the intro. When I quit and start a new game without exiting the app I still skip the intro. I haven't tested this extensively because I haven't cared that much, but I have noticed it.

You get them when you need them the most especially in the beginning of the game. I've been able to experiment with builds I would never consider viable. That does increase the fun for me. In EP1 A1 you have 6 Talents to spend. By level 6, I've spent 2 Talents, and start taking the long view about Level 12 and beyond. In some cases the starter items are equivalent to getting a free level in a particular talent, and that makes a big impact on where I spend the next ones. The boots are great because all criticals stack. Burning Blades and some other of Selen's talents start boosting it big time. Edit; I meant 4 Talent by Level6

Yes I'd like to second the Balance of the Reward Items, nicely powered but not overpowered. Well done.
As for the Skip Intro issue, I clicked on it when I started this new game but haven't started another game since then so I don't know if there is a problem with it repeating or not.
