OK, this is happening to me far too often now. If I get distracted while reading the quest text, my screen goes dark and the natural reaction is to touch the screen to wake it up. However this also skips to the extent dialogue box!
Simple solution, can we have forward and back arrows in the text boxes and a finish box at the end, that way I can read and enjoy the story even if I get distracted at home!

So the device is asleep but still passing touches to the application?
What type of mobile device are you using? iPad, iPhone?
Simpler solution - fix the root bug with the OS touch translation code.
If you post details, I'm sure I can fix.

If you post details, I'm sure I can fix. It's not asleep, the screen darkens and a touch will brighten it up again. It's a power save feature and I can turn it off but I usually forget! It's a Samsung Note 3. Definitely not a fruit! Another thing that I picked up yesterday, same issue, is that certain areas of the map trigger dialogue, and there have been times that I've been scrolling around with my finger while my characters are walking to an area of the map. This triggers dialogue but as I'm still in finger scrolling mode I end up skipping the first dialogue box! Anyway, I've thought of another, possibly easier, solution. Why not have in the menu, next to quest log, a chat log that lists all dialogue that you've encountered in chronological order. Then if I miss a section of dialogue I can just go there and read it again. Plus it'd be a great feature to re-read and refresh the story as you progress through the game. I've actually had some free time this weekend so have put in quite a few hours of gameplay, which is why I've now mentioned these niggles, as for me story is everything. I'm actually on my third game as the first two, I kept missing dialogue so I just restarted the game to catch it again. Thankfully I wasn't that far ahead so it wasn't too bad, but now, I'm quite a way in so restarting would be a pain. Hopefully that'll explain the issues I'm having, it's your fault for writing such an engaging storyline!

I agree wholeheartedly with this section of gandalf's message. I was being lazy last night when I just "liked" his original post. (Aye, it IS a wish(though I think it may be space consuming to implement.))

gandalf - we already have a Quest Log. I do not think your suggestion for Chat Log is feasible based on the way the game is assembled, or something we are looking at at this time. We very well be adding some buttons to the dialog screen to better control dialog navigation, including Skip.

Sorry, yeah, I meant chat log! Understood on the reasons, I thought it may have been the easiest of options to enable. However, great news on the buttons to control dialogue navigation, it'd be fantastic to be able to go forward and back on the dialogue boxes

gandalf - no, sorry, it isn't. The game state is tracked in a way that actually makes that next to impossible.
