Im confused with the control scheme. In the cells in the beginning of ep. 1 there is a ring inthe cobwebs. Clicking on them does nothing. How do I get it?

Talking about it puts it in your inventory.

@masquick - go to Status > Equipment > and click on one of the three gear slots (bottom right 3) and you'll see the gear you have, including the Sage's Ring.

@masquick - go to Status > Equipment > and click on one of the three gear slots (bottom right 3) and you'll see the gear you have, including the Sage's Ring. I found that really confusing - should have been explained on screen that you already picked it up. Also, I find it annoying that I can't look at all the spare gear in the same way that I can look at all the other things using the "items" button. It seems all I can do for gear is go to a character and try to equip.

robertmarkbram - all carried items are split into one of four categories: 1. Items - usable, do stuff, disappear. Accessible via "Items" button 2. Weapons - to be equipped for killing stuff. Accessible via Status > Equip > Weapon Slot 3. Armor - to be equipped for defense. Accessible via Status > Equip > Armor Slot 4. Gear - to be equipped for their special magical properties. Accessible via Status > Equip > Gear Slot Hope that makes it clear.

I can't look at a list of all my items in order to browse through them. For example, let's say I just picked something up but I couldn't quite remember if it was an overcoat or bracers. I can only go to a character and then use the equip mechanism first for overcoat, then for bracers. That is a quite specific mechanism which implies that first you know exactly which character and which slot you need to put that item in. I would like to have a way to do it the other way around: browse through my items.. Ahhh, I forgot I had that brilliant item X - tap on it to see options for having a character equip it or use it.

Maybe I'm misreading but isn't it a bit obvious that a ring isn't a piece of armour...unless you play skyrim and exploit the crap out of enchanting and alteration (but I digress)
I'd thought what I'd do, was pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes- Catcher in the Rye/G.I.T.S SAC

We're going to work on enhancing the labels in the equipment screen so that its very clear between the boxes that Do Weapon1, Weapon2, Armor, and Gear1-3.

I can see the point that when you've got 4 characters with armor and 3 items and 2 weapons each it can be difficult to get a birds-eye view of everything that you have. It's easy to lose track of something that you might want for a character because, oh randomly I gave Kyera the sequined nighty because she had an empty slot, not that she would ever use it. There's no way to look at everything you have regardless of whether it is equipped or not and to do a major rebalance/distribution of what you have equipped on your team. I don't know how such a thing would be achieved though on small screens. I suppose an item list that shows even equipped items with a note about where they are would help, but then you'ld be creating another screen that would need a button somewhere. I don't know...
