Playing on demanding and was awarded hardcore ultra, which states you have to make it to level 10 using ONLY the Vae Victus. The problem is I am in Aperio Caliga. Im not complaining per se, as i made it to lvl 10 previously but died in a mutiny before I could record it. Thinking maybe it was intended to read "reach lvl 10 on demanding using only the ship you started with" ?

Hi Sebastian, The description for the award is slightly incorrect as it is simply achieving the particular level (5, 10, 20) with the ship you started with.

Aye, i thought that was a possibility.
Another question, if an unlock says it has to be acheived on a specific difficulty level, will you unlock it if u first succeed in reaching the goal at a higher level of difficulty?
I.e if it needs to be done on challenging but i accomplish it on demanding do i get the prize or do i need to go play the game on challenging?

Yeah you get the prize if you win the award at a harder level. ... an optimist might even say "Hey, play the game in insane or impossible level and you'll be able to unlock every challenge you attempt" ... ... of course, they say that about winning the lottery as well.

Yes, well starting out one is beholden to the descriptions in game i thought I *had* to get em on tjat difgiculty setting. Though, i mudt admit there is a little good to be said about weening oneself into the hard, learning the basic strategies of the game. Nice to know i can leap ahead as soon as this current cap'n dies

boeu,
I notice the same effect. After playing Impossible or Insane for several games (even loosing games) when I return to Demanding or Hard there is often a "what tha?" moment.
