(just testing the newest job type, the Raid and this scene occurred) ...
The door buzzer gave a warning beep as the Cyber Knight strode through the door, her heavy duster swishing behind her. The proprietor of Fairmont Self Defense and the thugs hired to protect his shop all stared at the tall, lithe Knight like deer in headlights. When the a grin split her face, everyone breathed a silent sigh of relief.
"Four cases of auto rounds."
Her purple, rough-chopped hair matched her clearly augmented purple irises.
Credits and ammo changed hands, and the buzzer announced her exit from the shop.
The proprietor shifted on his chair behind the dingy counter. He stood up nervously to get a better look. The hired thugs stirred.
"What is she doing?"
The Cyber Knight finished loading the last case of ammo into her Cyberloader, tossing the empty cartons into the street.
The buzzer screamed as the Knight kicked the door open with her combat boot and came back in, her SMG roaring.
"This is a revenge kill - ready to die?"

nice... Naturally the situation reminds me of this classic scene... www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIPCn-aYMoMEven shows the whippet gun Kyle Reece rigs out of that police winchester.

(Loving the new job types, and taking multiple jobs from different connectors to the same location. This just happened in my game...) slayernz heard the shifting of nervous feet from the back room. There were a lot of nervous feet. He sighed as he turned back to the books rubbing his temples. Opening the new smuggling route through the tunnels was barely covering the costs of the increased protection he'd had to hire. "Uh, Boss. We've got company..." Leaning back in his chair slayernz could just barely make out the shapes of two women through the grimy front window. As they entered the storage yard for SlayerNZ Shipping, his thugs began reaching for their clubs and @slyaernz could literally see the hackles go up on the hunds as low growls came from their throats. The door opened slowly as the Knight and her runner stepped in accompanied by the small tinkling bell that slayernz had so lovingly rescued from a past lifetime. "This is a raid, chummers," drawled the Knight. slayernz blinked, but the first bullet was between the eyes of one of the hunds before his jaw could finish dropping. The martial artist runner was a blur of cyan-gloved motion as the hyperpunks lunged toward her with their thug cutters. Two of them were dropped to the floor as the rapid crack-crack of the rifle filled the small store front. The runner put down the last of the hunds with a whimper. "That's all of them," she said, turning to her knight. "Let's finish that next job." The Knight found slayernz huddled under his desk in the back room. "I have a message for you," she stated simply. slayernz popped the contract into his comp with shaking hands: The Fennians know we're in the side tunnels. I've lost two of the new guards this week to their increased patrols and word is they're looking for a knight. I think they may be coming for you. Those thugs may not be enough, watch yourself Chummer. -FHe raised his eyes from the display to see the sweetly-smiling knight holding out a credstick expectantly: "It's just business..."

Hmmmmm ... I think it was a set up. I got tipped off that some chummers were planning a heist, and hired a couple of lowly runners to act as decoy guards. I mean really - you'd be able to WALK into my office area without being cavity searched first?!? Even those runners were cavity searched! Along with a nominal funds transfer, I ensured a tracer program was added so that I can pay a return visit. And no, my team won't be wearing no tazer gloves - I don't get that "non-lethal force" thing ...
