Dark Souls 3 and Kung Fu Panda 3...
In a cursed world of expert martial artists, humans gradually and inevitably devolve into beasts. Only through the power of chi can one hold onto their humanity... but the chi fades, and so the strength to resist the curse becomes exhausted.
To save themselves, many have take a violent path, whether by murderously draining the chi of others who still have some humanity, or by taking bits and pieces of chi, by slaying those who had gone feral.
Hostile to all, dark spirits invade to pillage whatever chi they can find, but they themselves have powerful chi, tempting any mortal warriors who believe they are strong enough to defeat them.

Dark Souls 3 and Dr. Strange. Dr. Strange's cape reminded me of how Slave Knight Gael (one of the most difficult bosses in DS3) would use his cape in his attacks in the second half of his boss fight.
Now I'm thinking about if the characters of Dr. Strange and Gael were combined as a boss fight...
If you thought Dark Souls III was hard before, imagine a boss fight were the flow of time itself is convoluted... it'd be the stuff of nightmares...
