Tried my plan if charging the bridge with my Vincent-Selen party. Worked like a charm. Kyera Etherealed everythig in sight, the two Vs chopped & shocked their way through, while Selen did her Neo imitation. Then taking a step away from the bridge to the N, I drew in the scattered max range archers to the S while chopping up the last few melee guys (including Geraux). Surge back across the bridge with mass lightning & slashing.
Few close calls, but a lot of fun. I had Vraes & Selen down low on hits a couple of times while trapped on the bridge and once Kyera almost got whacked, but with lots if potion drinking, got through it.

Some of these would be good candidates for a video demonstration.

Android 4.4 now has video capture - we'd love people to share their own videos!

Its not that I don't like Selen, I just really prefer to maximize my long range combat capability to soften the bad guys up for Big guy.

The problem with Selen playing Neo....if they somehow get several hits through her high Dodge, she will die fairly quickly. I'm lusting after trying the full set if replacement killers though. OTOH I think a higher level Selen with both bow & blade can be party DPS booster superior to Tamil's personal DPS.

1) First time I fought at the bridge my wizard slaughtered (sees he was a weapon magnet). However, re-starting the fight from a restore point mean the long-walk (?) glitch was triggered. Combat mode was started was soon as I entered the level with all the enemies on the far side of the bridge. The wizard and the thief picked off the foes as my warrior become a meat shield to plug the bridge. The lack of the pincer attack made the fight easy. 2) Second time playing through (with better assigned talent and skill points), charging the bridge made it easier. It was the only fight were the Cleric's lowering AP skill came in handy.

1) that is how the bridge fight is setup. There are situations in which, once a fight starts, the engine cannot "undo" the fight and let you start it again, or you could end up with a broken game. Not a bug, that's the design! 2) That sounds like a good time - better build is easier and more fun fights. The higher you go on the difficulty scale, the more Talents you'll need to bring to bear to be successful.
