Hi TB. Typo in latest version description, in the Play Store, Elite version. Missing "t" in hostilities. Also. Why In App Purchases, in AoP? I know you can buy OTHER Trese Games, but I don't see that as IAP's. So what am I missing guys?

Adding permissions is not something you do as an after thought. Adding IAP permission late in the game, or internet, or any permission causes a big uninstall and negative rating binge. For any game in which we may use IAPs (all of our games), we have added the permission in advance when possible.

Thought I was missing an add-on. Got all excited for nothing. Lol. Thanks Fallen.

If I'm really honest, I am not a fan of IAP'S. I love to download new games from google play store and numerous times i have found out you need to spend a lot of money just to play a game properly. Example - i downloaded a strategy game which will remain anonymous the other day claiming to be free but when you actually play it, you find out you're very restricted in units to use and only have access to a couple of missions before you have to purchase coins to continue playing. Your games are the only one's I have trusted to pay for if I see IAP's as i know you get a full game experience. My phone is incompatible with HoS sadly but i think offering a free download, hours of gameplay and a small charge for episodic content is the way to go. You get money for further development and gamers get hours of content. Considering AoP has an Elite paid for version, I'd be interested to hear what plans/ideas you have for IAP's. If it's for new story content or additional maps, count me in. If it's for exclusive ships or officers that are far superior to what you can get anywhere else, I doubt i would pay more money. Cheers,

You only need to look at our Elite + IAP system for Star Traders to see how different we are then the other games you are talking about.
Our current work speaks for itself, and I am happy to say that our plans for IAPs are already public in a dozen places, this forum has several threads already dedicated to the topic.
If I'm really honest, it does not matter who likes and does not like IAPs. Game companies that stay in business and make games use IAP. Google and Apple have made it VERY clear that IAP are the way of the future. Nothing you or I do or do not do will change that.
We only use IAP to unlock content, either the content from the Elite version into the Free, or additional optional content (maps, stories and characters.)
