Hi I'm new to the forum so I just wanted to start off by officially declaring an oath of fealty to the Cadar Syndicate, hail Cadar. Next I wanted to say kudos on such an awesome game you are a talented game designer.
Ok, now onto the main topic, I recently errrr... Acquired a new flagship Carrier from a very kind crew that simply insisted that I have it after I went over to their ship (such kind people in this game). However I have had some trouble using it effectively and keeping the crew calm. My stats are: Charisma-23, Wisdom-10, Quickness-30, Strength-45. My skills are: Explorer-10, Pilot-30, Negotiate-9, Tactics-10, Stealth-30, Warrior-45, Intimidate-22 What are ideal stats for controlling such large ships?

In my experience, such large ships are death traps. You need a pilot skill higher than the hull rating for one. Then, you basically need to fill it up with crew, get a warrior skill up as high as you can, add in some boarding shuttles or a leviathan system, and then invite yourself to tea on your opponents bridge by cutting through their hull with a plasma torch.

Yeah I had to dry dock it. Had 5 mutanies on it and had to beat my crew back into line each time (i never bribe the crew, that shows weakness. If they want the ship so bad they can take it from my cold dead hands). Still would it be possible to make that ship an effective one to use?

Low wisdom? Ah, that's why you didn't notice the rest of the Cadar snickering when they call you "Captain Largetarget" behind your back.
If you insist on keeping that boat, get as many engines on it as you can as fast as you can. Maybe you'll live long enough to trade it in for a Jango Class.
Best of luck!

lol... I actually do have a jango class which I like a lot more. And What do you mean my captain's not smart. I'll have you know that he knows lots of scientific facts. The other day he was telling me that he learned that humans only use 10% of their brain....... Sure he then asked me what the other half is for which was a little disappointing but he is making progress.
