Great news! I just finished updating the PC version to v2.0.5.

For Desura Users; The easiest way to update HoS (windows 8.1)

Right click on the desktop icon
Left click on "open" drop down item
A signon popup box will appear enter your Userid and Password

Left click on the Heroes of Steel "Play Full screen".

This is when you will get another popup box telling you the update for 2.0.5 is available.
Left Click Update

When the update completes; Left click Launch and away you go.

After that, Desura like Steam will allow you to play in offline mode at game startup if preferred.

Playing on the PC is great in so many ways, more on that later.  At home we play on 4 separate devices all equally terrific in my book.

I'm trying to run the PC version in a Google Chrome tab. This would allow me to swap between my google docs and the Forum.
Obviously full screen doesn't work that way because the escape key will not let you break out to return to Chrome tabs.

When I don't run in full screen it comes up in a smaller separate window outside of Chrome but I can still see the tabs.
The problem with that is I cannot see the bottom "Quit" button because it is overlayed by toolbar.

How do you "Remain on top" of toolbar in windows 8.1? And how do you get the tool bar back on the display. Thinking toggle.
