Great that the new Federation captains start in the Copper Mountains. Not so great that they start right outside Chilicote, which is one of only 4 places there that isn't a Federation port ...

EDIT: Hmm, maybe not so great. I just visited every Federation port in the Copper Mountains and there was only 1 commission in the Copper Mountains. It was a capture. A a new starting captain, I want to deliver mail in my Fluyt ... Was I simply unlucky, or does the job mix need examining?

Chilicote also has very little food. Actually, if there is lots of food to be had anywhere in the Copper Mountains, I haven't found it yet.

Have to agree with you on that one... No delivery commissions at the starting port for the same area, and next to no food for me as well.

Perhaps I have chosen too difficult a starting location. Do you find any other areas more friendly?

I am finding the Gray Coast a whole lot more full of nice cargo missions. The food is better, too.
