Fiddling with the cargo is really irritating. I'd like a 'throw away this good until it's either all gone or the boat is no longer overloaded (so I can grab it.)

grävling - just want to be sure I record it correctly. You have a captured an enemy. You've taken their ship ... you want to select a cargo at that time and "throw it away until cargo is okay".

Well, you could put it back on the ship I am about to leave them to limp home in ... yes. And, of course, you might throw away all your timber and _still_ need room, so 'throw away until cargo is ok, or all is gone'. EDIT: What I really want is: When you press 'capture ship' or when you press 'take all' every last good is stuffed onto one of the 2 ships -- either the new one (capture) or the one you have been using. If you aren't overloaded, well and good, sail away. If you are, I want to get to a screen where I can say: Ok, start tossing Good X -- for instance Timber. If I can toss a partial load, and then not be overloaded, then do that, and again sail away with your full boat. If all the timber has gone over the sides but you are still overloaded, then select another good, and repeat until you finally get under the limit. I'd like this a lot better than the current 'the game picks for you what to take when there is too much to loot' and it will save an enormous amount of hassle if you win a battle with a ship that has a smaller cargo hold than you do, and for some reason you want to keep that ship and not the one you started with (i.e. I won the duel but my old ship is no longer sea worthy). Does this make sense?

I edited the last. Now I post this so you know to read it again.

The toast system on my tablet is really slow. I cannot wait around to see what it is that I looted from the ship. If I just leave and head for my next target, I will be well on my way to finishing him off before the toast report of what I looted comes in. So, in some sense, if I do not get what I want by blindly pressing 'take all' and then burning/leaving the ship as my commission specifies, it serves me right.
But, sigh, I just saw that the game decided to put timber and canvas on my ship and a whole lot more of food rations which I very much do not need and left the gold on the ship that I sank. Sigh! And with all the effort this knight has made in becoming a great swordswoman I wanted my kraken-bait!
So, ideally I would like what I outlined before, so that the game didn't pick for you. In the meantime I would like it if gold was prioritised over trees....
