Even after I got over 400 silver that was needed to purchase the ship, I was still unable to purchase it. I reset the phone and found the exact same ship at another port for 200 silver less than the original, was able to purchase without incident. Which leads me to another question: does the same ship cost the same no matter where you buy them? Assuming my current ship is in full repair in both cases and I'm buying from the same faction, without any rumor involved in either case.

The cost of the ship is influenced by the urban zone.
Have you been able to purchase other ships, and this one is the exception?

The cost of the ship is influenced by the urban zone. Have you been able to purchase other ships, and this one is the exception? This is the second time I have had this happen to me- both have been when I don't have enough silver the first time I want to purchase the ship, then I go around the map area and fulfill commissions or pirate my way to have enough silver, yet once I have enough it sill saysI don't have enough to purchase. If I reset game or find the same ship elsewhere I can purchase no problem- as long as I have enough the first time I wish to make the purchase.

Oooops, not fixed at all in next. Right now it says: Your current ship is valued at X and this new ship is a bargain at Y. Your out of pocket expense with a trade-in would be Y. Your out of pocket expense without a trade-in would be Y. Y is always the same value (different for different ships, of course.) Not sure that there is the same problem with out of pocket profits, as I haven't found a ship cheaper than the one I have to buy yet. This is for 1.0.11 And it's worse with ships that are cheaper than the one I have. My current ship is worth more than the one I propose to buy, I am still being told about out of profit expense instead of profit, and the price with and without a trade-in is the same, the list price of the ship.

Want to report this bug again, not sure if it was ever fixed,
Latest version of AoP Samsung S7, 6.0
Have more than enough silver to purchase a trade in, but it's saying I don't have enough silver. Let me know if you need more details-- I'm running the starting Pirate Marauder, attempting to purchase/trade for a Patrol Galleon. I have about 100 silver more than its asking.

Thanks fallen . I suppose it serves me right for attempting to BUY a ship while playing as a PIRATE. Have ye ever heard such a thing?

I'm trying. I had to settle for a Sleek Eastwinder, which is a great upgrade in terms of sail and cargo space, but I'm going broke because Pirates just come right up to me and wreck my sh*t. If I could have bought that first ship I'd either be perfectly fine, or game over because I'm broke trying to fix it.
I forgot how hard this game was. I still love it though.

Cory Trese This is a recurring issue that I've reported twice so far, but have come across several times...
