I spend so much time buffing my party after every combat and not all of the buffs can fit in the quickslots so it makes for lots of tapping. Is there anyway that there could be an apply all buffs button? I know it would be a little complicated with the party buffs that require forming the happy cross-o-buffing, but even if we had to get in a particular formation before pushing the red button it would save a ton of time and taps.
A scrollable talent list would somewhat help with this. Where are you guys at on that?
Also, I was thinking about what button could be used. Does anybody use the Next Character button?

Nope, never used it. I'd like a buff button too!

I do. But yes, a buff button would be nice.(With defined buffs.)

contributor - it is on our list to add. We've been looking at it right after fixing the Talent's list so it isn't stuck at 3, and a fast forward button. Buff All is a critical one for fun-to-play.

Hahaha, I will put it on the list Perhaps the button could automatically skip buff talents for characters without enough AP. Make the button scroll through each character and each buff(s) available for each character. Press the button once to draw up the buff and again to cast it. For area of effect buffs it would draw the talent up and the player would cast it as per usual. If you manually deselect the buff then the button once pressed again will move to the next character/buff. Just some thoughts. :-)

Outsider - yep, the reason it isn't in the game yet is that its complicated to get it right Complicated biz. Yeah just thinking from a programming stand point how it would work, quite a few if/then arguments but it could tie into the next character button already existing. Current character. Press button, first available buff selected, is AP and SP available? Yes? Buff drawn up. Press again to cast. Press again, is there another available buff? Yes? Is there enough AP and SP? Buff drawn up. Press again to cast, etc. If a 'no' argument happens the next character is selected. For AoE buffs it'd draw the buff up and if the button is pressed again without it manually having been cast by the player it'd deselect and move to the next buff talent or character. Just thinking out loud trying to flesh out the idea, no pressure.

One last thought process for now, first of all I don't use the next character button as it is because it is so small that it's easier to just click on the character I want on the screen (or touch on my phone) so it's not a button I ever use. Though, I don't know what other's experience has been, I can see it's use situationally. Secondly, this would also just about negate the necessity for a talent solution as far as adding more buttons or a scroll option as you wouldn't need those spots for buffs and could focus on attacks and debuffs. I know that even then Selen and Tami may need to hit the talent button occasionally but definitely far less often because of their numerous useful talents.

Yeah, I've already got it solved from a design standpoint -- just a big pile of code and testing left to do on this and several other features!

Oh oh ... in the short-term, would it be possible for self-buff spells to be automatically activated upon selection? That is, if you select Stone Skin, it should automatically be cast on Vraes, because it can ONLY be cast on him anyway.
This means that you don't have to (1) press on Stone Skin, then (2) press on Vraes

slayernz - I think that could lead to a good deal of accidental buffing. We are working toward Buff All in the short term

But but but I liiiike accidental buffing (shiny Vraes). Anyway, once you've buffed a couple of times by accident, you should have learned your lesson. A bit like running with machetes, or a flaming fire brand.
