Ok, so I was originally just sending this to Cory, but then I realized that I might ask the rest of you if any of you guys have noticed anything similar to this.
Basically, I will severely damage a ship, and then suddenly it will be impervious to any successful hits. I told Cory I would start keeping notes of when this happened. Here is a log of a fight I had this morning. This type of fight happens a lot for me.
I started taking notes on round 35 where I have already successfully damaged them a good bit, but suddenly I have not been able to hit them for several rounds.
