Okay so this isn't a bug - but I have a habit of playing HoS in reasonable light - sometimes even daylight. Unfortunately as soon as I do that, the screen seems overly dark and I can't see anything ("Maybe they don't show up on infrared at all"). All of the nice detail I am used to seeing when playing inside is lost - and I either have to turn my screen brightness up to maximum AND move the screen up to my eyeballs like an old cat that I am, or I have to sit in a very awkward way in order to provide some shadow on the screen. What would be great is for there to be a daylight mode where everything is brightened up significantly. I'm not saying you should tap into the sensor of the device (because that could be tricky) but it would be awesome if there was a button on the start screen that allowed you to have that mode activated. To know what I mean, try coming out of the dev cave and play outside

As I play on the Galaxy S3 and the screen is awesome, I never have an issue. However I've noticed a lot of games do have a 'bright' mode now. No idea how they work though, never used them. Just rely on my phones auto brightness.

I have the same issue with brightness in the great outdoors...or even just riding somewhere in the daylight. A gamma setting would be great, although the normal "residual" brightness left around in spots as you explore a map would work. Maybe turn off fog of war setting?

It's the fog of war that definitely impacts on visibility in bright-ish environments. You just can't see where you are going on a map if you are trying to traverse from one side of the map to the other. Combat is okay (so long as the area is in visible range, but if there are pre-visited areas of darkness (for some reason) you never see anything.

I agree with all above said feedback, if I tried to play HoS on my phone out in the daylight I had to crank my brightness all the way up, even then it was a strain and yes fog of war dimmed areas were impossible to see. A brightness option in the game might be able to help this. God bless the PC. :-P

I have added #HOS-2413 so that we don't lose this request, but it is very low on our priority list.

Well it isn't really fog of war, which is the part that hasn't been explored yet, but the already explored parts that have dimmed

Oh yeah - I don't want to be able to see the things unseen - just have a bit more visibility of where I have been Accepted this is low priority too
