My question is simply this, what do they mean? I know a set of footprints means you are monitored and the speech bubble has something to do with rumours. Can't find anything in the tutorial or on this forum on then.

Footprints : You are monitored. Every footstep you make is recorded and nothing you do can go unseen. If you do anything "bad", heat is gonna go high. Speech Bubbles : There is something going on in this area. Check your rumor screen if you know about it or investigate if you care. Red Bullets : You are currently using your last ammo. Go buy some. I have never seen another ; maybe it is just the way I play, maybe it is normal. But that's it.

As a general rule, your sleep status will go in this order: Sharp and Alert -> Well Rested -> Rested -> Tired -> Dog-Tired (Exhausted status) -> Asleep on Your Feet I take crammers or slep once I get to Rested since the status screen is a bit slow to update (can't tell you how many times I finished a job or got into a fight only to get no exp because it apparently reached exhausted status...). Taking crammers give you the "crammed out effect" which means you get exp as normal, but it will eventually drop to exhausted status, where crammers stop taking effect. Ergo, I'd complete one last job after my crammer and then finding a place to sleep.

If you tap the symbol down on the right hand corner of your HUD it will tell you what the symbol means.

Thank you all, looks like I had guessed them all except for the 'low on ammo'. I wondered about that one.

Thank you all, looks like I had guessed them all except for the 'low on ammo'. I wondered about that one. It's only good for noticing if the leader of the party (the person whose head is shown) is low on ammo. Your buddies could be down to nothing and it doesn't show. In the old days, before we started using the best person's stat to do things and when, for instance, if you wanted your Face to handle the negotiations, you had to have the Face picture showing -- you would run through your team often enough to catch these out of bullet problems. Now there seems little reason not to always lead with the same person, so the signal isn't as useful. Should we move to getting this symbol when anybody on the team is running out of bullets for whatever they are equipped with?
