So now that we've killed (for those that have gotten that far) Vurnak, will the dialogue hereafter refer to the Eight faithful remaining children? I know you mentioned that the cult temple will be optional, and yet it would seem odd to me to continue to refer to a dead and corrupted god as one of the faithful if you have completed that storyline. Just curious. :-)

Outsider - we've thought about this, and the saying will not change. To me, this is very reasonable. It is a exclamation that everyone has grown up with in the world of Steel. Regardless of the change, those words will still leap to their lips. I would say this is similar to Catholics who have left the faith, but still say "Oh my God" all the time. In many ways, it is a rote, meaningless exclamation. Also, from a story perspective, your Heroes have not met anyone that the trust enough to want to have an in depth discussion as to why there are only eight Faithful Gods left.

fallen, Cory Trese, the Temple of the Thirteen scene with Fyona was EPIC! Left me grinning from ear to ear, I love it!! Well done. :-D P.S. - Completed the Temple battle in three rounds on Normal. By the Nine do I love Vincent! ;-)

Maybe slip in one comment down the road:
Thief: It's simple. We sneak by the Orcin patrol, dance with the un-dead Deathkin guards, slip into the dragon's den and make off with the Staff of Thirteen (in italics showing thought: ...and more loot than we can spend in a lifetime.
Wizard: By the Nine, that's a terrible plan. Did you not hear the guards story? That beast is nearly a god itself.
Thief: Don't you mean By the Eight? We've killed one of them, remember. What's a god-like dragon when we've killed a god?
Cleric: Silence your blasphemy. You shouldn't make light of the burden the Faithful have carried.
Warrior: This isn't helping. We'll need to figure out which path to take by the time we get to the bridge.
Wizard: Yes, we'll burn that bridge when we come to it. But what side will we be one when we do?
