Empire summary has -1s where there should be 0s

Started a new game and began clicking buttons to see what was what. When I got to the Empire Summary, many stats were displaying -1 when they should probably be displaying 0 (zero).

Population -1/-1
Quality -1/-1
Mineral -1/-1
Factory -1

et cetera

I realize this is probably a special case that only happens before any colonies are established, but it still looks wrong.

I saw that -- it should probably shouldn't open without any Worlds.
