When in the map screen, there is a bar in the upper left corner with a little info on the selected ship. My first instinct to get more info on the ship is to tap on it, but that does nothing. I've found that if I double-tap on the ship icon on the map, it gets me to the details screen for the ship. It would be nice if tapping on the info bar (what is it properly called?) would also get me to the ship details screen. It's often easier to tap on that info bar than it is to hit the ship icon when zoomed out on a small device.
