Just wanted a place to specifically talk about the ship designer. I want to make some badass scary ships later, so I'll be back for the breagging, I hope! Issues: If the Ship Designer Parameters are exceeded... 1: The designer should really refuse to let me move forward with the design so I don't go all the way to the end and not be able to save anything. Just to take up less time. 2: The warnings for exceeding parameters are low on the screen and only appear for a moment or two, basically making it easy to miss. How about leaving it on the screen in, say, yellow letters so it is hard to miss? End of Ship Designer... The buttons (Previous, Next, Save...) blend and clash with the Build/Maint costs, making for text overlapp. Maybe another screen and button for additional costs/info? Deleting a Design... Deleting a design is pretty obscure. It requires pressing the "make a new ship" button, then "design" the ship a player wants to delete and THEN pressing "delete" on the correct ship in the list, which doesn't remove the ship from the choices but erases it when the "back" button ios pressed (back tot the initial design screen). This is just plain confusing-- can we have a stand-alone delete button on the first design screen?

Thanks for the posts, what screen size are you on? I was pretty sure we had fixed all the text overlapping but must have missed some.
You can delete a design for the "design details" screen, several ways to get there. that is probably where it will stay, but I do see that the list doesn't refresh on delete -- noted for fixing.

D'oh!! Should've poked at that screen some more. x.x I'm on the 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD. Hope it helps!

I have that device and all the text and buttons have a good amount of spacing between them.

The Build and Maintenance numbers for upkeep (i.e., "$400 credits to maintain, $50 to build") run into my buttons for "previous" and "save". I can take a pic and email the next time I see it.

On the 8.9inch Kindle in landscape mode? If you can tell me what screen, maybe one of them some how misaligned for large screens. I cannot reproduce (yet) thanks for the feedback.

I can take the screenshot and through quickoffice find out where it is (QuickOffice is set automatically to find documents, but there is a dropdown menu to show ALL files, including pictures. The pics show up slide-show style when selected). If I can take the pic and locate it, I should then be able to add it as an attachment to gmail. I tried to do it on the proboards before, but the boards only accept like 1mb and the pics on this Kindle are more like 1-2 KB, XD

Should be in your inbox-- sorry for delay; I'm entering year 130-ish and finally getting a handle on how this game works.

Haven't seen any aliens, but I'm on Normal and still flailing at buttons hoping to make things work (or break stuff and use that as an excuse to do better next game), so I'm okay with being left in peace.

I'm almost done with the first game, around 2.16. Just a heads up, cause it confused me, when a new century starts, there's no 0 indicating it's the first decade of that century. ej:
1.98 - 1.99 - 2.0 - 2.1 - 2.2 - ... - 2.8 - 2.9 - 2.10 - 2.11 - 2.12
The mathematician in me just freaks out, I understan why, it just seems weird that AE 2.8 is before AE 2.19

I think ST pads with 0, I just want to be consistent with RPG here.

I'm having the same issue with the warning texts on my Kindle fire HD 8.9 but I am running CM 11 rather than the kindle OS. Whenever it pops up the things like mass is too high, or training not set etc it will be over the other text at the bottom and the buttons etc, hard to read. It has a short delay but I will try to nab a screenshot next time it happens.
