I'd have chapter three done by now, but I don't think fallen and Cory Trese know how hard it is to write fan fiction when 4x and HoS are begging to be played! Can your games not be so good please? I'm trying to write here! |

Has anyone else who writes anything formally ever noticed that typing as you go just doesn't product the same quality writing that paper produces? I just scrapped an entire chapter before I even posted it, because it wasn't as good as the rest of my tale. The wait continues, but I'm hopeful that this second time around will be much better than what I originally had. I do hope everyone has enjoyed it so far, and I'll keep you posted as to when the next chapter will be posted, hopefully by the end of the week!

I was thinking that maybe my story might exist in the same universe as yours does. I dont think the two captains will fight side by side but i think i could make a nice story about something to do with the war. I was thinking that since Khaimer are attacking the capitol they were going to probably bring the best they have got but what if i say that they need to fund the attack and money so what if i said that the Khaimer were sending a treasure fleet to a certain naval fort and what if i said that that treasure fleet caught the attention of a certain pirate.

virtualrock- if my story got your creative juices flowing, who am I to say no =) I would like to see you develop your story to be *mostly* seperate from mine, though, as I had a few other stories in my head that I wanted to work into this version of the world. But like I said before in this thread, I made no claim of ownership of anything I write for the forum. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Wow- it's really been a while since I've put a chapter up, isn't it? I've almost gotten the next chapter fully written on paper andtomorrow I'll be actually buying either one of those neat tablets with the keyboard flip dealy or a small lap top that I can download Dragon onto. So look forward to another new chapter at some point. I'm actually also writing my second story about those Ice Demons and so far I'm really loving how it's coming out. First person this time and more of a horror styling. I'm not sure if you saw my query about the Ice Demons I put up, Cory Trese and I hate asking things more than once, but do you think you might be able to give a brief reply on that? I'm aware you're a busy man, but I could really use some insight, if you could =) |

I'm pleased to announce that I'm writing chapter four, in which Roderick is really actually setting sail! About a quarter of the chapter down, including his rousing speech, and I'm just about to have the fleet set sail. Finally time for me to put these grandiose battle plans into motion; I hope you're all ready for this |
