I think the politics system in 4X will be fun because it will let us all explore the reasons behind the ever shifting landscape of ST RPG's Factions.

We'll all get to use Spy Wars to defuse Solar Wars, deploy Trade Bans to top the spread of Xeno Cults and risk Trade Bans in efforts to maximize profits.
